First Race Report of 2016 by Mark "Dogs" Davies

First race report for 2016. Me and Martin Dainty turned up to race at York 234 race.  It was dark and very cold but once under way it wasn't so bad.  During the race quite a few moves went up the road but to no avail, then about 12 laps to go, a strong move went with 7 riders keeping clear 'til the end so it was a sprint for the minor places.  One of the breakaway riders managed to crash on the last turn. I won the bunch sprint for 7th place.... and Martin was back at the van saying the floodlights had spun his head again...I've told him to stop taking so many tablets...😨but all good fun... Roll on Saturday; Richard Dobson, me and Martin Dainty are flying the flag in the Soens..
